your little tarzan dummy, sitting in your bouncer that Hayley and Lindsey gave you, kicking sophie the giraffe and listening to it squeak, bringing things to your mouth-mainly your hands, and anything that Mommy forces into your hands, naps, "wind" drops, stroller rides, mommy's singing...sometimes,  Alan Jackson's Precious Memories CD, being blessed by the blessing song, and books
Dislikes
Mommy sucking boogies out of your nose, waking up too early from your naps, being held too much, passing "wind"
Pax-isms
You are sleeping through the night!!!! This started about 2 and a half weeks ago. You wake up often and wiggle around and grunt and groan--then you toot and fall back to sleep---it's hilarious.
you officially need to be in 3-6 month clothes..leaning more towards 6 months (2 weeks ago your 6 month pj's were HUGE...now they are fitting...hmmmm)
You are cooing and squealing and talking all the time
Again, it is so crazy how fast kids grow! But it is so much fun! I love that Pax is now interacting more and more with us and it's fun to try and guess what his personality might be. Sometimes I feel you can tell in kids what their personality will be like--but pax is pretty difficult! I can't seem to figure him out..maybe it will take a bit longer for him--but I know there is definitely some phlegmatic in there! (see the post here for more info on personalities)

I feel so blessed to be this little guy's mommy. Some days go well, and some days are slightly more difficult and those are the days that I have really needed to check my attitude. I'm amazed at how quickly my attitude can be affected by a small circumstance!! Lately I've found myself repeating variations of the "I have to" or the "I've got to" line...For example..."I have to wake up and feed Pax" or "I have to go and make dinner" or "I've got to clean the house." Those may not seem like such bad phrases but after a while, I realized that they are affecting my outlook on my day, my attitude, and overall, my life. I noticed this because recently I listened to a CD by Amy Marks that reminded me that I need to change those phrases into "I get to.." Because we do "GET" to do those things. I get to wake up every morning and feed my son. I get to make dinner for my husband, I get to clean my house. By changing just one word, it can changed my whole attitude. It changed my outlook from negative to positive.  And, along with that it helps me realize my blessings. I get to get up and feed my SON--a blessing! I get to make food for my Husband--A BLESSING! The fact that we have FOOD in the house is also a blessing! I get to clean my HOUSE--another blessing! I wish I could say that I now have an "I get to" attitude all the time...but honestly it's a daily...no HOURLY struggle. Not really sure why I shared all that just now, but it's something that I'm trying to work on and implement in my life, and I thought maybe it would help you as well! God Bless you all!!!!!

P.S. SEE YOU IN 10 DAYS!!!!!!

    Verse of the Week

    2 Corinthians 12:9
"But he has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." John 3:16-17
